I bought my cutter before the holidays and have just now had the chance to use it. My hand has gotten to the point that it is difficult for me to cut even the thinner stems. And that's with good snips. This cutter lets me cut even the thicker stems. I have to use two hands on some of them (I'm a small person), but I can do it. It's heavy enough that it doesn't tip and doesn't take up to much space on my table. I'm happy with purchase.

I don't have the strength in my hands anymore. I used this a couple times to cut stems off that I was packing away for Christmas next year. The all plastic stems cut well but you still have to have a lot of leverage with the thicker and metal stems. I'm glad I got it at a terrific price.

I strongly urge all wreath makers to invest in this stem cutter. There is nothing on the market that compares. I know, it's expensive, but being in pain and possible carpal tunnel surgery is NOT worth it. Cuts those thick metal wired stems and garlands like butter. I bolted mine to a small wooden table that's shorter than my work table which gives me even more leverage. I make it a personal rule never to recommend anything, cause it has in the past come and bitten me in the A.. I recommend this 100% without hesitation.

Awesome product! Shipping and Handling was not ideal though. When I opened the box up I discovered the item was pretty severely damaged cosmetics wise. The base is pretty sharp from sliding and grinding during shipping.

Works well on cheaper type 5-7 stem bushes with the weaker stems (bag flowers) will do the whole bush. But don’t expect it to cut the big 14-36 stem more expensive bushes. It will cut about 3-4 stems at a time of those. Larger cutters are available for the big bushes and usually mount to the workbench.

How have I created floral designs for years and NOT had this amazing cutter. It's a must for those huge thick stems that take an act of batman strength hands to cut. I think its safe to say my mini hacksaw will now be retired.

I work for a flower shop no fresh flowers just silks. I purchased this cutter because sometimes our customers need for us to cut part of a floral stem off. I discovered this stem cutter is for light stems and we also carry thick stemmed floral that it does not work on. I think I probably need bolt cutters. Some of our flower bushes have 8 stems in one stem maybe more so its pretty thick and this cutter is I thick for light duty. I will keep it but wished it would have worked for our thick stems

I didn't need a stem cutter in the past since the red bolt cutter worked fine for what I needed. Now that I'm using florals on wreaths, I found that the bolt cutter had a tough time cutting the thick stems. Deciding not to struggle anymore, I took the plunge and ordered the stem cutter. Even though it's a bit pricy, which was one of my concerns, the stem cutter makes cutting stems a breeze. It has gone from a luxury item to a necessity and is well worth the cost.
